Theo is lovely, but can be a pain at times, crying just when that football match is on – he didn’t get that part where I explained to him Gemany was already qualified – but apart from those lesser things everything is indeed fine.
Andrea took him to the doctors today, and as it turns out he has been growing rapidly in the past weeks. Now weighing in at 4.800 g on 55 cm of pure muscle, bone and that enormous organ responsible for the sheer crying power.

Three weeks have passed since Theo arrived, and we are still adjusting our lives to this. The last week was quite tough for us, we got a little less sleep than we had wished for, but Theo makes up for this.
Last night we took Theo out to two parties at friends’ places, and he really showed his best side – completely sleeping through those parties. We learned two things from this – Theo likes loud parties, enjoys rock music as much as we do and only goes back to crying the next morning when both parents wish for that little extra bit of sleep.

Nights with little sleep, days full of activity and that little one at the center of everything we are doing. It’s been quite an experience, our little sunshine pretty much changed everything. Today we will be taking him outside for the first time, it is sunny and pretty warm, perfect conditions for a first contact with the outside world.
